The Master Instructor of FMAC is Mr. Chris Natzke, a 7th Degree Black Belt and 36 year veteran of the Martial Arts.
After a successful 10 year management career, Master Natzke left the corporate world to pursue his dream of owning and operating a martial arts studio. FMAC is one of Denver’s largest martial arts schools, serving over 450 students.

Harold, born and raised in Queens New York has slowly made his way west and has decided to make FMAC and Aurora home.
Harold graduated from SUNY Purchase with his BFA in Photography. He has had his own photo studio in NYC and has worked for a national photo chain, the Picture People. One of the top managers in the company, he was on the company’s 1st national training team to teach his method of sales and marketing. He has also been the Marketing Director and Brand Ambassador for Samsung Telecom and T-Mobile HotSpots in New York City and in Houston, Texas respectively.
Harold has had a love of martial arts from a very young age. From never missing the kung fu/shaolin movies every Saturday afternoon, to studying Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts) for 2 years. He is the father of 2 boys Isaiah and Harold Jr. who both attend Cimarron Elementary School. Besides martial arts, Harold is interested in volunteering at his sons school, training for a sprint triathlon, real estate and is an avid poker player. He is excited about becoming a part of the FMAC family. He is looking forward to learning all about you as he helps you get the most out of your daily experiences at FMAC. Please make sure to introduce yourselves when you meet him, and you might want to ask him why his friends call him HALO.
Jason
has been training in Tae Kwon Do for nearly 14 years, and received
his 1st Degree Black Belt at the age of 9. He is
currently as Junior at University of Colorado Denver, and he is
majoring in Film Production, preferably Directing, Producing and
Editing. In May of 2009, two of his films were selected as some of
the best of the academic school year at the College of Santa Fe, New
Mexico, where he attended his first two years of college. Jason
intends to move to Los Angeles after school, in hopes of breaking
into the film business. Other goals in his life include: walking
the length of New Zealand, traveling the world, and inspiring people
along the way.
Isabelle started martial arts in the fall of 1999 after watching her brother do Mighty Might classes thinking he was going to be a sumo wrestler. After receiving her brown belt she moved the next day to Colorado. Two months later she was enrolled in FMAC. She now specializes in Escrima, training in Boulder. Isabelle is 16 years old and a senior at Grandview. She is in advanced classes and is apart of the mixed choir Camerata at school and the View, the yearbook of Grandview.

Brent is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and an expert in European and Asian sword fighting, as well as kick boxing, grappling and submission fighting. He enjoys the out doors and all manner of "High Impact Action Sports"! Paintball, Mountain Biking, Full Contact Stick Fighting, Snow Boarding, and Martial Arts are just a few of his interests!
He has over 20 years of teaching experience having earned his rank in Sun Do Sul under Grand Master Y.S. Choi. He has recently earned certification in Jeet Kune Do concepts from Sifu Paul Vunak.
He states, “I am very excited to announce that I have just begun teaching at The FMAC under Master Chris Natzke!”
Dylan has been with FMAC since second grade. He started martial arts because his best friend took him to a buddy day. Dylan now holds a second degree Black Belt. He has begun pursing other martial arts and has competed in 3 National Wushu tournaments. He achieved a life long dream when he began teaching at FMAC.
FMAC has contributed much to the person he’s become by teaching him countless new ways of teaching others and bettering himself. While he is still not sure where he wants to go with his martial arts career, he knows what he has learned will stay with him for the rest of his life.
Abhinav is 15 years old and currently working on his 3rd Degree Black Belt. He enjoys working with children and teaching them basics of martial arts. Abhinav started Taekwondo when he was seven. After a few classes he knew that Taekwondo was his thing. He has been training ever since and plans to be part of this ancient art of self discipline through out his life. He believes that Taekwondo has taught him discipline, patience, courage and above all leadership. He is a sophomore at Grandview High School. Along with his academic subjects like Math and Science he enjoys tennis, volleyball and piano. He plays on his school's varsity tennis team. He also has achieved the rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts.
Sean was born in Portland Oregon. He has been practicing martial arts for 6 years. He began Taekwondo with Master Natzke at age 10 after moving to Colorado. He had aspirations to become a soccer player, but with encouragement from his parents, stuck with Taekwondo and after achieving his Black Belt, fell in love with the art. Sean Murley, is a self taught dancer who has been dancing for 1 year. Sean trains in Hip Hop choreography, but places a high emphasis on his bboying. He is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and has trained in Chinese Wushu for 4 years. He also coaches, and choreographs Family Martial Arts Center's Team X-treme who perform at professional sport venues including, the Colorado Rapids, Colorado Crush, and the Denver Nuggets.
Taylor began training in 2001 - she achieved her 2nd degree Black Belt in October 2007. She Traing Kung Fu and Wushu. Taylor is a 11th grader at Smokey Hill High School.
Jason
has been doing Martial Arts for 9 years, and has been attending FMAC
for 5 of those years. He is currently at the Community College of
Aurora, where he is majoring in Architecture. In High School, he was
named to the Honor Roll, and in his Junior year, he received a 3.5 –
3.75 GPA. In addition, he has designed the logo for CAMA.
Stan
Ovrutsky began martial arts training at the age of seven. He later
tested and received his black belt
on August 2, 2000 from Grandmaster Ki Soo Jung. Stan was awarded his
black belt at age 11, and continued to stay at U.S Tae Kwon Do
Center. Shortly after he switch schools, and became a member of Sun
Do Sul Academy. On the verge of testing for his second Degree Black
Belt, the school closed. After the school closed, he took time off
martial arts and began playing hockey and football. Senior year at
Smoky Hill High School Stan started
training in martial arts again. Stan became a member of Patrick
Chandlers Ultimate Martial Arts. In
a few months he was offered to be an instructor at the school. After
school, he would teach and train. Stan trained Muay Thai and
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Shortly after,
Ultimate Martial Arts merged with
Family martial Arts. At a new school
Master Chris Natzke gave him an opportunity to become an active
member and instructor at FMAC. In addition, Master Natzke presented
him with an opportunity to test for his Second Degree Black Belt.
His future goals are to stay active in martial arts, and possibly
get an armature Muay Thai Fight in the near future. In addition, he
wants to become an active paid firefighter and EMT.
Mikaela
is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been training with
Grand Master Natzke since the age of 5. She is a member the FMAC
Team Xtreme Demonstration Team. She is a 2 time Colorado State
Grand Champion in Tae Kwon Do and has trained in both Wushu and Kung
Fu. She is a Wushu Champion and a Brown Belt in Kung Fu
and has been featured in the Kung Fu Magazine. Mikaela is an Honor
Student at Smoky Hill High School. In her spare time she enjoys
spending time with family, friends, listening to music, and
gymnastics.
Alexa
Franz has been training in martial arts for 10 years. After
achieving her Second Degree Black Belt
at Family Martial Arts Center, she
decided to expand her knowledge of martial arts and began training
in Chinese Kung Fu and
Wushu. In December of 2008, Alexa
earned her first degree black belt in Kung Fu. She is a national
champion in Straight Sword and Long Fist and competes
internationally in Wushu. She also enjoys
teaching martial arts, modeling, and acting.
